Less Discomfort, More Smiling
Damon braces use a slide mechanism instead of tight elastic ties, which means less pressure on your child's teeth and a much more comfortable experience overall.

Braces for Kids in Las Vegas
Building Healthy Smiles from the Start
When early orthodontic intervention is necessary, the goal is to guide your child's developing jaw and teeth into a healthier alignment to prevent more severe problems down the road. But at Ehrmantrout Orthodontics, we believe that Phase One treatment should also be a fun, positive experience that gets your child excited about their smile!
Dr. Zach Ehrmantrout provides gentle, effective early braces for our youngest Las Vegas patients, combining expert clinical care with an environment designed specifically to put children at ease.
Expert Care for Your Children
When Are Early Braces Necessary?
While many children will not need braces until their teenage years, the American Association of Orthodontists recommends an initial evaluation by age seven. If Dr. Ehrmantrout identifies specific developmental issues during this evaluation, he may recommend a brief phase of early braces (Phase One treatment).
The Benefits of Braces for Kids
Why Kids Love Damon™ Smile Braces
Faster Results
Because the teeth can move more freely, Damon braces often require less overall treatment time, getting your child to their perfect smile faster.
Fewer Appointments
Without the need to constantly change elastic ties, your child will need fewer adjustment appointments, meaning less time out of school and less disruption to your family's busy schedule.
Easier Brushing
Elastic ties are notorious for trapping plaque and food particles. The tie-free design of Damon braces makes it much easier for kids to keep their teeth clean and healthy during treatment.
Classic Metal Or Clear Bracket?
Style Choices: Metal or Clear?
We know that every kid has their own unique style. That is why we offer options to customize their orthodontic experience:
Damon Metal Braces
Sleek, low-profile, and highly durable. While the Damon system does not require elastic ties to hold the wire, kids who want to show off their school colors or favorite shades can still add decorative elastics to their brackets at each visit!
Damon Clear Braces
For kids who prefer a more subtle look, Damon Clear brackets are virtually invisible and highly resistant to staining. They offer all the speed and comfort of the metal version but blend in naturally with the teeth.
